Use the Christmas holidays to visit Prague and start IVF treatment thumbnail

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and it is even more romantic in December with its Christmas atmosphere. This year our clinic will be open from 27 December till 30 December. This will allow you to combine a visit to the beautiful wintry Prague with an initial consultation at our clinic, in which we will perform all initial tests and present treatment options.

Initial examination at our clinic

You can undergo an initial examination directly at our clinic; this examination includes an ultrasound examination of the ovaries and uterus, as well as tests for the hormones AMH, TSH, PRL, LH and FSH. Semen analysis is also an integral part of the initial examination.

This is followed by a consultation with the doctor and your personal IVF coordinator, who speaks your native language and will be available to you throughout the treatment. Based on your medical history and the test results, the doctor will present further treatment options.

Book your appointment as soon as possible.

Comprehensive infertility treatment

Our clinic uses the most modern methods for the treatment of infertility, and we constantly invest in equipment that will help us increase the success rate of artificial insemination. We offer treatment with either your own eggs and sperm, or donated eggs and sperm. Every member of our team has many years of experience in the treatment of infertility at major assisted reproduction centres in the Czech Republic and abroad. This is why our treatment has a long-term high success rate.

Free online consultation

We also offer an online consultation with a doctor in the same period (27 December – 30 December). In this case, we will need your test results in advance. We do not collect eggs or perform embryo transfers during the Christmas holidays.

Visit Prague in winter

Prague is full of Christmas decorations in December. The lights and Christmas trees create a magical atmosphere in the city. The main Christmas markets on the Old Town Square are open until 6 January, and you can also visit a number of other places with a fairy-tale atmosphere.

When defence turns into attack or the 7 most common questions about immunity & fertility

Every day, our immune system protects us from viruses, bacteria and other threats. But at times, its defenses can turn against us—even against a deeply desired pregnancy. Immunological causes of infertility are among the most insidious: they are not visible, they cannot be detected without special tests, but their consequences can be dramatic - repeated miscarriages, failed embryo implantation or unsuccessful attempts at artificial insemination. The most common questions about immunological causes of infertility are answered by our doctor Karin Cerna, MD, a leading expert in reproductive immunology who helps women every day to unravel the invisible obstacles on the path to a child.

Do you know what the epigenetic effect is?

For many couples, using donated oocytes (female reproductive cells - eggs) is the only hope for having a child of their own. Patients often go through a long and challenging journey before deciding to choose donated cells from an anonymous donor for their family. Typically, these couples have already undergone treatment with their own cells, which may have failed once or multiple times—biochemical pregnancies, miscarriages, failed implantations, no embryo transfer, countless exams, and surgical procedures. The option of using donated eggs typically comes after couples have faced exhausting experiences that haven't led to their desired outcome.
