Europe IVF has been awarded ISO 9001 certification. Independent confirmation of our long-term focus on quality of care.

18.8.2026 · 3 min reading

Quality of care is not a one-off achievement. It is a commitment we fulfil every day.

Fertility treatment is one of the most demanding periods in the lives of many couples. It requires not only cutting-edge medical knowledge and modern technology, but also trust, safety and the assurance that every step of treatment is carried out with the utmost care.

That is precisely why quality is one of the core values on which Europe IVF has long been built.

We are pleased to announce that our clinic has successfully obtained the internationally recognised EN ISO 9001:2015 certification. We see it as independent confirmation of our long-standing focus on quality of care, patient safety and the systematic improvement of our services.

The certificate was issued by the independent certification body TÜV NORD Czech and covers the provision of specialised outpatient and one-day care in the fields of reproductive medicine, gynaecology, obstetrics, urology, anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine, as well as the operation of the andrology and embryology laboratory and cryobank.

What does ISO 9001 certification mean?

ISO 9001 is a globally recognised quality management system standard. It does not evaluate individual doctors or specific treatment procedures. It focuses on how the organisation functions as a whole – how its processes are set up, how it manages the quality of the services it provides, how it handles risk, and how it develops its services over the long term.

Obtaining certification is preceded by a thorough independent audit, during which processes are examined across the entire organisation – from process management and documentation, through internal control mechanisms, to the way the clinic continuously evaluates and improves quality.

For us, certification is not a goal or an award in itself. It is confirmation that the principles on which Europe IVF has long been built meet internationally recognised quality standards.

Quality as part of our vision

At Europe IVF, we believe that leading-edge reproductive medicine is not just about modern technology and expert knowledge. Open communication, mutual respect, a human approach and a willingness to constantly look for ways to further improve our care are just as important.

These principles have been part of our company philosophy since the clinic was founded.

That is why we invest on an ongoing basis not only in modern equipment and staff training, but also in the development of internal processes that support the safety, efficiency and high quality of the care we provide.

ISO 9001 certification is a natural confirmation of this long-term journey.

Continuous improvement is part of quality care

One of the fundamental principles of the ISO 9001 standard is continuous improvement.

Our work does not end once certification has been obtained – quite the opposite. Certification is regularly verified through independent audits, which confirm that the quality management system not only works, but continues to develop further.

We regularly evaluate our processes, train our staff, invest in modern technology and listen to the experiences of our patients. This allows us to keep developing our care and adapting it to new findings in reproductive medicine and to the needs of the people who turn to us.

Confirmation of the path we have chosen

Obtaining ISO 9001 certification does not mark the beginning of a new chapter for us, but rather confirms the direction in which Europe IVF has long been heading.

Our goal has always been, and remains, to provide reproductive care of a high professional standard, based on:

ISO 9001 certification is independent confirmation of this approach, and at the same time a commitment that we will keep developing our work and seeking new ways to provide care at the highest possible level.

We would like to thank all our patients for their trust, and the entire Europe IVF team for their daily work, thanks to which we can fulfil this commitment together.

The Embryo: Development, Quality and Its Role in Fertility Treatment

A lot rides on the first few days after fertilisation — more than most people realise. For couples going through IVF, a good chunk of what determines the outcome is already being decided in that short stretch of time, before a pregnancy has even properly begun. So it is worth knowing what an embryo really is, how it grows, and why the people in the lab keep such a close eye on it.

Pregnancy Tests: When to Take One and How to Read the Result

For most women, a pregnancy test is the first real answer to a question they have been turning over for days. But the test only works if the timing is right — take it too soon and even a genuine pregnancy can show up as negative.
