When should I take a pregnancy test after IVF?

A urine pregnancy test will not be conclusive earlier than the 12^th day after embryo transfer. If the test is negative, we recommend repeating the test on the 14^th and 20^th day after embryo transfer. After a positive test, book an ultrasound to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
