What criteria are used to select egg donors and what information can I find out about them?
Donation in Czech republic is 100% anonymous. We only provide information about the year of birth, blood type, eye colour, hair colour, height, weight and education.
Each donor undergoes a comprehensive range of tests and examinations, which include:- An assessment of their general health, including BMI
- Gynaecological examination
- Establishing their family history
- Genetic testing of the donor’s blood
- Interview with a geneticist
- Test for sexually transmitted diseases

How long does it take to select a suitable donor? What are the waiting times?
As we have a large database of donors and thus we can select a suitable donor very quickly. It usually takes 2 months to select a suitable donor, including synchronisation of her menstrual cycle with the recipient´s.

What does the treatment process look like?
Initial Consultation
Based on your completed contact form, our coordinators will arrange an initial consultation with you. During this meeting, we will explain the treatment process and carry out a basic medical examination.
Medical Diagnostics
To determine the most suitable treatment, fertility testing is required for both partners. Infertility can originate from either the male or female side.
Male Fertility Examination
The basic test for men is a semen analysis (spermiogram), which shows whether your partner’s sperm are healthy.
Female Fertility Examination
For women, we start by checking the patency of the fallopian tubes, conducting genetic examinations of the uterus, and assessing hormone levels. These help us determine the cause of infertility and guide you towards achieving your own baby.
Treatment Plan
Based on your diagnosis and test results, our IVF specialist will recommend the most appropriate treatment. Together with the embryologist—and tailored to your individual wishes—they will also suggest advanced laboratory techniques to significantly increase the chances of pregnancy and the birth of a healthy baby.
Stimulation
The course of stimulation varies depending on the treatment plan.
For IVF with your own eggs, the goal is to stimulate the growth of follicles from which the eggs are retrieved.
In IVF with donated eggs or frozen embryos, medication is used to prepare the uterine lining for embryo implantation.

Egg Collection (Puncture)
Depending on the treatment, eggs are retrieved either from the patient or the donor. The procedure is carried out under light sedation and usually takes no more than ten minutes.
At the same time, the partner provides a semen sample directly at the clinic. In the case of sperm donation, we use frozen sperm from our sperm bank.
Fertilisation
Mature eggs are fertilised with the selected, highest-quality sperm—usually via ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection).
Embryo Culture
This process monitors the quality and development of embryos to identify the ideal time for embryo transfer, maximising the chances of successful implantation and pregnancy.
Embryo Transfer
This procedure is painless and performed without anaesthesia. Embryos are transferred into the uterus using a thin, flexible catheter, which is guided by ultrasound to ensure precise placement.
Positive Pregnancy Test
The IVF treatment is considered successful once a positive blood pregnancy test is confirmed—14 days after the embryo transfer.
